10 x 10 - A Celebration of Contemporary Glass
Following a successful bid to the Lottery through the Arts Council of England, the CGS are pleased to announce the launch of the above, which will include a number of events in the South West in 2007.
10 x 10 - A Celebration of Contemporary Glass is funded by Arts Council England through its Grants for the Arts programme for individuals and organisations.
From 26th August to 4th November 2007 CGS will be promoting a number of events in the South West of England, together with many partners, to celebrate its 10th Anniversary.
Included in this extensive programme will be;
• An open submission Glass Exhibition entitled SIDE by SIDE, at Bovey Tracey from 22nd September to 4th November 06, in partnership with The Devon Guild of Craftsmen
• A Glass Conference “Looking into Glass” at the Eden Project
28th – 30th September
This major celebration of Contemporary Glass has been made possible by a successful bid to the Lottery through the Arts Council of England and the enthusiasm of CGS members and their creative partners.
